Who can enter?
Students, parents, family members, instructors and members of our Michigan Region community may submit photos.
One form submission corresponds to one photograph. Additional photographs require separate entries.
What kind of photos are allowed?
Photos may be taken in dobok or out of dobok. They may feature Tang Soo Do technique, training, competition, demonstrations, board breaking, forms, sparring, sportsmanship, friendship, travel, celebrations or our Tang Soo Do family in action.
Photos should reflect the positive values of Tang Soo Do and be appropriate for all ages.
Are professional photographs allowed?
Yes. Professional photographs are welcome when they feature members of our Michigan Region community and the entrant has permission from the photographer or copyright holder to submit the image.
Professional equipment, editing or paid photography services do not receive preferential consideration.
What image quality should I submit?
Please upload the original, highest-resolution version available. Avoid screenshots, social-media downloads or heavily compressed copies when the original image is available.
How are finalists selected?
Each of the seven Michigan Region dojangs selects its Top 3 photos. Up to 21 finalists then advance to public People’s Choice voting on MI-ITF.com.
Permissions and promotional use
Entrants must have the right to submit the photograph and any required permission for recognizable minors.
By agreeing to the submission form permissions, entrants allow the Michigan Region to reproduce and display submitted images for contest voting, MI-ITF.com, social media, tournament programs, event displays, promotional materials and tournament apparel.
